Four Seasons Safari Lodge

Central Serengeti, Serengeti National Park

About Four Seasons Safari Lodge

Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti stands in the central Serengeti, among the Big Five: lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant and rhino. Its 77 rooms, suites and villas look out over the savannah, and some face a natural waterhole where elephants and other animals come to drink through the day. Local Maasai keep watch over the lodge.

Savannah Rooms have a shaded terrace and a deep soaking tub. Horizon Rooms open onto a thatched balcony facing the waterhole. Terrace Suites add a private infinity-edge plunge pool, an outdoor shower and a separate sitting room, and the two-bedroom villas have their own living room, dining room and pool deck. For a near-exclusive stay, the five free-standing villas of the Private Villa Experience come with a 24-hour personal attendant and in-villa dining.

Between game drives, guests swim in the free-form infinity pool above the waterhole or relax in the spa, which looks over the Serengeti. Hot-air balloon flights at sunrise end with a Champagne breakfast in the bush. Ninety-minute walks with the resident naturalist, Maasai guides and park rangers include setting up a camera trap, and private photo safaris are led by wildlife photographer Paul Joynson-Hicks.
