About Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge
Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge sits high on an acacia-lined ridge in the central Serengeti, with the plains spread out below like an amphitheatre. In season the migrating herds pass through this view, and lion and cheetah hunt across the grasslands.
The lodge has 65 rooms and one suite in clusters of stone-built, thatched rondavels arranged around an infinity pool. Rooms are decorated in warm earth tones with Makonde carvings and handcrafted wooden furniture, and each has a private balcony, a natural stone bathroom, complimentary Wi-Fi and 24-hour room service.
Breakfast and lunch are buffets and dinner is a set menu, and much of the meat, dairy, fruit and vegetables comes from the communities around the park. Beyond game drives, the lodge arranges balloon safaris with a bush breakfast, guided nature and bird walks with a resident naturalist, Maisha Spa treatments and candlelit dinners, and it is a popular place for honeymoons and safari weddings.
