About Selous Riverside Camp
Selous Riverside Camp is a simple, good-value tented camp on the banks of the Rufiji River, just outside Nyerere National Park (formerly the Selous Game Reserve). Tents are en-suite and the open dining area looks out over the river, where hippos and crocodiles are a constant presence.
The camp is an affordable base for exploring Tanzania's largest protected area, with game drives in the park and boat safaris on the Rufiji, one of the highlights of a visit to southern Tanzania.
